A series of works was created based on screenshots from TiсTok, the first stories were created in August 2020. One morning, I stumbled upon a video on Instagram of a girl who threw a Mentos into a Coke and covered the hole with her mouth - foam gushed out of her nose like a river. Her momentary anguish shone through my screen, collective civic compassion was in the air.

The works from the "Shopping and Entertainment Complex" series are united by the idea of turning ordinary scenes from life into overloaded, dramatic events. Based on this premise, it is not enough to compare life with a film or a play, it acquires the features of a sacred capitalist place capable of accommodating everything and everyone. There will be a place for everyone and everyone will find their own way of existence in the Complex - a supermarket, a battle arena, a food court, a bar. If you don't sell, then you have fun, sell and have fun, while having fun, sell - events are enclosed in this framework, there is no way for another to happen. But if the other has the power to manifest itself in the SEC as such, it will be forced to do so through the most radical, instinctive, painful channels.
